Dingle Wildflower Climb

$1,200.00

Available through Afterglow Gallery, contact artist about this work.

View from when I climbed Eask Tower overlooking Dingle Harbor and the ring of Kerry- it's true that Dingle might be the most beautiful place in the world.

The stone tower, built in 1847 during the famine, is accessed through a nice old man's farm, and you close and open the sheep gates as you ascend. After the workhouses closed during the famine, building this tower was considered famine work to pass the time. The history is fascinating and somber.
